Thor: Tales of Asgard by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby #1 is the first of a planned six-issue limited series collecting the backup stories of the title character as they originally appeared in the 1960's Marvel title Journey Into Mystery and other early Thor titles. This issue, released May 13, 2009, collects the "Tales of Asgard" backup stories from Journey Into Mystery #97-104 from remastered reprints. I grew up on Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and imho, nobody can, or shall ever beat, the tandem in portraying the original Marvel Superheroes in action.

Arzach is a comic book collection of four wordless short stories by artist/author Jean 'Moebius' Giraud, which were originally published in the French sci-fi/fantasy comics magazine Métal Hurlant, which Jean Giraud co-created. Métal Hurlant became the template for the U.S. version Heavy Metal, which featured many of the stories and works of its French forerunner. The stories follow Arzach, a silent warrior who rides a pterodactyl-like creature through a strange, desolate landscape. The imagery and situations in Arzach are often compared to dreams or the subconscious. These stories had an enormous impact on the French comics industry, and the Arzach character is still among Moebius' most famous creations. The CBR is presented here "as is" from the digital scan.
